Historically, about 50% or more of our students have been accepted to medical school during the year they are in the program; they begin school the fall semester right after they finish the SMP. Overall, about 85% of our students have been accepted to medical school, most within two years of completing our program. In recent years, Georgetown University School of Medicine has accepted 20-25% of our students who applied. Other students enter into Ph.D. programs or degree programs in other health fields (osteopathy, dentistry, etc.) or seek permanent employment.
